St. Luke's Community Hall

The new Hall was opened in 2002. It is linked to the church and includes a medium-sized hall, 3 other smaller rooms, kitchen, parish office and a large, secure garden area - “The Garth”.

The Hall is used both by the congregation and the wider community: Scouts, Guides, Yoga Pilates groups, two nursery schools are among its regular users. The hall also has many one-off bookings from local families for children’s parties and other events. As an attractive modern facility in a pleasant setting opening onto a large green, it is in high demand.

The new Hall was built with the aim of providing a positive community service. One of our hopes was that we would also draw some people closer to the church family. The Hall is provided at very low cost to charities and is a very busy, vibrant and lively place at all times and on all days of the week.
